RP PHILOSOPHY & RULES

  1. INTERESTED IN: 25+ RP partners, RP Discords, Character Development, Long Story Arcs, Short Arcs, Casual Social RP, Narrative and Consent Based RP, Adventure & Exploration RP, Ishgardian RP, Magic RP.

  2. NOT INTERESTED IN: Complex Combat Systems or Excessive Rolling, SA or Non-Con, Transphobia ICly or OOCly.

  3. LGBTQ+ ACCEPTING: I'm a nonbinary transmasculine person (he/they). LGBTQ+ RP partners and atmospheres are a must. If queer identities make you at all uncomfortable, I am not the RP partner for you. Not only am I queer but my characters are as well.

  5. A NOTE ON POLYAMORY: I am OOCly polyamorous and many of my characters share this particular trait as well. I like to be very upfront about this as I have come across players who are uncomfortable with polyamorous shipping. If this makes you uncomfortable from an OOC standpoint, it may be best that we do not interact. With that said, I am absolutely not seeking OOC romance and do not want that to be in any way involved in my IC shipping.

  6. RP STYLE & VENUE: I have a slight preference for in-game RP, but can absolutely make discord RP work if we cannot find time in-game or our schedules do not line up. If we do decide on Discord RP, please try to remember that I do have RL things to attend to and that replies may not always be as swift as I might like. I will endeavor to reply at least once per day, but this might not always work out. If you prefer a partner that responds to a Discord scene as if it were an in-game scene, then we may not be compatible in this area.

Cyrille was never more than a fringe presence in Ishgardian high society. As the second son of the late Viscount of House Archambeau, he was the spare rather than the heir. With the family being quite devout, his path was all but chosen from the moment he was born, much like that of his elder brother. The eldest would inherit and the second would go to the church.Intended for the clergy, Cyrille attended the Scholasticate from a young age. While he always known to be intelligent and studious, he was also considered odd, eccentric, and emotionally detached. These traits mere not, necessarily, valued in a priest, but certainly drew the attention of an Inquisitor who took him on as an assistant before he joined their ranks himself.He served happily in this position until near the end of the Dragonsong war when his elder brother, now the Viscount and Head of their house, fell in combat without having sired an heir, leaving Cyrille as the next in line. While Cyrille seemed to take no pleasure in his ascension, duty called and he stepped down from his post and assumed the titles and responsibilities that came with leading House Archambeau.As an unmarried man of significant wealth and social status, Cyrille has found himself thrust into the spotlight of high society. Even with him being known to be the eccentric sort fascinated by things most would find grotesque, he is still considered to be quite the prize on the marriage market. Something he very much wishes he was not. Though, no women have, so far, been able to stomach his presence for long enough to wed him. In truth, very few people seem capable of such a feat.

Hooks & Rumors

  1. Former Inquisitor - Those with ties to the Inquisitors or who worked with them closely may have interacted with him.

  2. The Scholasticate - Perhaps there is a chance they attended at the same time?

  3. Nobility - While Cyrille was a second son, he is still quite noble and has existed in those circles for the entirety of his life, always having been a bit odd, he's a bit of black sheep, but now he's a black sheep with a title, a vast fortune, and no wife. What a catch he would be.

  4. Collector - As mentioned above, Cyrille is known to collect bits and pieces of monsters for his collection. Both rare and mundane. Maybe your character sold him something? Helped him have a piece preserved?

  5. Sculptor - Not know for taking commissions or anything of the sorts, he is known to spend hours upon hours in his studio working away. He might be willing to make an exception for the right person, though.

  1. Known by those with ties the the black market - Cyrille is thought to spend quite a lot of money in seedier places in order to collect magical artifacts.

  2. Known by the gossips of Ishgard - Some have also claimed they have seen the gargoyles on his estate move of their own accord.
